Angela D. Lee is Associate Professor and Director of Graphic Design in the Department of Visual Art at Lipscomb University. She teaches graphic design classes that integrate identity and branding with marketing, UI design and XD process, motion graphics, and graphic design business best practices.
Lee is Co-Director of Education for AIGA Nashville and a member of the Interaction Design Foundation. She holds the MFA in Visual Art from Azusa Pacific University, the MA in Corporate Communication from Austin Peay State University, and the BFA in Design Communications from Belmont University.
Her freelance design portfolio has included work for brands such as O’Charley’s, Eli Lilly, United Methodist Communications, Broadman & Holman (B&H Publishing), Vanderbilt Women’s Health, Mapco and the Shop At Home Network. She has also worked as an in-house designer for Midtown Printing and LifeWay Publishing. Lee’s video art and photography have been exhibited nationally in juried shows. She has also dedicated her skills to pro bono work for the Nashville AAF/End Slavery Tennessee media committee.
When not in the classroom or in front of the computer, she can be found outdoors with her husband and their two terrier rescues.
